I think it's cause they keep that old hardcore sound to them which always makes me want to cut loose. I dig what they have going on, but it's really a mixed bag when you show up to one hahaha, there's the typical varsity jacket "too into it" dudes and then there's just others who wanna jam. here's not to say I haven't seen hardline regular looking dudes or relatively calm people with the x'd out hands and jackets but sometimes the fashion style really is pertinent to the scene. truth be told it's why I like it so much cause people are free enough to dress how they feel expresses them and it's rad.

Power Trip (a lil more on the metal side) shows are usually a great example of that. Patch vest, bullet belts, athletic shorts, crew necks, they all go to Power Trip shows.
