It's not so much hard to do, it's hard to do well and feel satisfied.
There are so many design variables that at some point you have to start making decisions and going with them. And since we're not doing economics yet, it's hard to say when the product is good enough and I shouldn't add that next piece of equipment that makes it better.
Definitely a good learning experience.
