father died early in my life. mother was a smoker so despite having plenty of money coming in never had enough for anything. anytime we bought something it ended up going back to the store end of the month to buy cigs. what didnt get returned eventually got pawned which was always turned out to be a drawn out sell process since once it went in it never came back out. bills often went unpaid to make sure she had cig money, evicted at least 5 times i can remember. on top of the addiction mother is also schzo paranoid. moving every few months because the house is bugged or people poising her throught the windows, lived in ~8 different states over my childhood and each of those states had multiple house and city changes all to run away from the shit she imagined. a few short periods of homelessness mixed in.

Amazing, I had a bunch of friends in the neighborhood my age. We would play every day after school, riding our bikes to the nearest stores, making up random games, exploring the forest near our houses.

I was also very popular in school. I not only knew everyone, I was friends with everyone. I had a couple girlfriends, but I was pretty young. Just kissing and holding hands, dancing at the school dances.

My childhood was fucking awesome!

Than I moved to a different state on the opposite side of the coast. Everything did a 180, and I knew nobody, had no kids in my neighborhood and never got popular with the girls again.

I had never moved anywhere, I never had to make new friends, so I didn't know how to. Especially in a state so ass backwards compared to the one I had lived in.

I can honestly say shit fucked me up to this day, and I would be a much better/happier person if I never moved.
