I bought one. almost never use it.
once in a while i will bring it out and play maybe 1-2 hours of various games on it, then it goes back in the drawer.
i don't think i have ever gone through a whole battery charge playing.
its a great piece of hardware. comfortable, good battery and screen, etc. but the lack of good games is crippling

Persona on pc ain't happening my man, and the FF remakes look like SHIT on pc. Problem with getting ff 4, 5, and 6 on vita is that they use the PS1 versions, so you're getting high loading times on fucking SNES games

Depends on what you're looking to do with it. I own one for 2 reasons. 1) Personal 4 Golden, I love RPG's and Persona's great, so having Persona 4 on the go is wonderful and a great way to loose time.
2)Import games. Gundam Breaker 1,2 and 3 are all on the Vita, and as some of the best gundam games ever put out, I couldn't pass it up, combined with shared save data, it makes it great.
Is it a perfect system? No, you'll likely get more use out of a 3DS than a Vita, but if you're looking for some great games, Vita does have a few that you'll never see on the 3ds.
As an owner of a Vita for a few years, don't buy it if you want more than JPRGs and imports.
My library for Vita consists of the 3 Danganronpa games, P4 Golden, Call of Doody (came with the system) and FFX/X-2 Remaster. Not a lot of fun games besides those.
