How do I find motivation to do anything? I've been a NEET for years now, I don't remember the last time I left the house. I've never had a job, never been to university/college, and everything feels like shit. I have bad insomnia, so I can't even sleep off my depression. Should I just go ahead and off myself?

I wish i knew an answer man, feel free to text me tho, maybe we could find something out together.
Jesus man, just go get a part time job at the very least.
How do people like you exist? Who do you live with that allows you to leech off of them like that?

I live with my parents. I know I'm a shitty leech, but I can't find the will to do anything. It's like I can't find any meaning in anything.
>>676401058
i'm on the same boat do you have steam or some shit?
>>676403171

Life does not have a reason to be for itself, you have to elaborate that reason.
Just think: what do you like to do? do something with that interest, meet people that have the same interest and form a group to do that with all that people. Do you hate something about this world? Do you think that have the ability to make that something that you hate can be done in other way? Try to make that happend.
What is ilfe about? Life is about claim a possible world and make it happend, affirm that world that its possible in your head and could be possible in the reality.
Thats the reasoning that I have achieve to keep leaving because I'm in the same position that you are.
For example, I suffer a lot in school: a boring place where I learn nothing and people were just cruel with me. Well... now I want to try to create a new type of school, because i hate how schools are now. I try to transform that hate into love. How can I achieve that? well... thats the hard part, but the reason to be is there.
Create one for you, my mate!

Eh, not trying to make you feel bad.
Your problem is probably that it's a vicious cycle. Your lifestyle drains your will and makes you depressed, which makes it harder to go outside and find a job, which makes you more depressed because you don't have a job.
Just force yourself to go out and find a part-time job so you at the very least can make your own spending money.

Also, get a job and earn money

If you have some friends, reach out to them and go have a drink in a calm bar. make new friends/ new connections.
volunteer work is allso a good idea if you havent done anything in a while.
Hey man, wanna talk about it? I can't right now though. Like around 4 hours from now. If you got a kik pls hmu.
>>676403339
I do, but I'm iffy about posting my Steam on /b/.

>>676403891
Do you have any ideas on what kind of job I should look for? I have very little skills beyond playing a guitar.
>>676404238
I don't smoke anything, and I rarely drink because it just makes me feel worse.

All my friends moved out of state and I'm so reclusive at this point that I don't even know how I'd go about making new friends.
>>676404697
anyjob you can apply for, the hardest part is applying and actually going there lol, but once you get it over with and get used to the work environment, it isn't all that bad.
if you are a true autist you know exactly what im talking about

>All my friends moved out of state and I'm so reclusive at this point that I don't even know how I'd go about making new friends.
and like i said volunteer work is allso not a bad idea to meet people.
Good way to make friends is public places ofcourse, for example a bar. I can understand its a big obistacle for somone like you.
but just say fuck it and go out somewhere, your not going to meet people by sitting on your ass.
>>676405575
How would I even go about approaching people in a public situation though? I'm really bad about being a sperg when I'm around other people.

most people don't find meaning in their jobs anon, but it gives you money and therefore opportunities to find things that you DO enjoy. if you never struggle for anything eg. just live with your parents with no commitment or responsibility then ofc you may feel like nothing has meaning.
if you force yourself to work for what you have, then it has a point by definition, and you'll feel better about yourself because you've earned it, rather than it just being handed to you like a piece of cake on a plate.
I feel you OP,
You're reading everyone's replies and, inside, you know they're right.
But the lack of will is keeping you from acting on it.
You'll either suffer long enough that it drives you to make a change, or perhaps another course of action, far worse.
Good luck.
