It seems to me that in order to figure this out, we first have to agree what is meant by "winning" and "losing", and define the average ice cube and average volcano.
For our purposes, the volcano wins if it is still belching lava after all the ice cubes have been melted, and the ice cubes win if even one ice cube remains after the volcano has been sufficiently cooled to stop its lava flow.
An ice cube is defined as 1oz. of solidified water in the shape of a six sided polygon with each face being symmetric with each other at zero degrees Fahrenheit throughout the solid.
An erupting volcano shall be defined as a conical mountain from which andesitic lava of 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit is being expelled from at a constant rate of 40 miles per hour from a 3000 foot crater.

The ice cubes would turn the lava to rock and seal the volcano shut but the pressure from the earth's core would blow a new hole somewhere else. Technically a win for the ice cubes because volcano ass.
