Wifi is fairly non existent. My first 3 weeks here was mostly without internet which was awful considering I was away from all my family, friends, and my girlfriend. I had to get a prepaid plan and I pay per GB. On campus there is spotty internet, none in the dorms, though the local ISPs will set up internet in your room for a charge (being a rich american I had to do this for my own sanity)
People really do. Of course not when there's access to a bathroom but I've had a bus driver stop to go on the streets.
I haven't been robbed, or in any danger really. My friend was harassed by a transsexual woman, but that's fairly common in India (I can explain why if anyone cares)
People are generally nice here :)
