I wasn't the one who posted the song but i do like this music from time to time. It might be an acquired taste, but there are a few things in this genre that make it appealing.
The energy and aggressive sound can match emotions you might be feeling at the moment.
The dissonant chords at 1:20 are quite rare in popular music but they make it sound good.
You probably didn't understand them but the lyrics generally are pretty good in heavy metal.
