IMO, no one can beat Manhattan. Part of his "powers" is that he sees past, present and future all at the same time, and while he is slightly autistic about it (knows its happening - doesn't react until it happens), he could theoretically harness that power and know exactly what someone is going to do before they do it. Combine that with invulnerability and powers beyond imagination, I think he could beat just about anyone given the right scenario. Even if it's someone else that's ridiculous strong and invulnerable, ie Superman, all Manhattan really has to do is teleport him to the other side of the universe and boom, fight over.

Being a martial artist and only counting common styles, I'd say Muay Thai is the best since it covers more areas (standing, clinch, can use knees to stuff takedowns) and the worst is judo. Not only because Judo is useless outside the clinch but also for consistency because I've gone against several judo black belts that are pure garbage on the ground after the takedown. The answer to this question is so easy. Look at the first dominant champions in the UFC. Most of them were wrestlers or bjj artists.
Fast forward to today. Pretty much every champ has a legit ground game. Werdum/Velasques, Cormier/JJ, Weidman/Rockhold, Robbie/Hendricks/GSP, RDA/Pettis/Nurm, McGregor/Aldo, Cruz/Dilli, Mightymouse
Listing champs and most recent previous champs, you can see everyones ground game is bomb as fuck and probably their first martial art.

As for Lawler the dude has been training MMA all his life so his ground game is pretty good as well.
