Tag Speech, Guns, and Science. Make Perspective, Intelligence, and agility 7, everything else isnt important. Level Lock picking, guns, science, repair, speech and energy weapons first, puting 5 in 3 each level and putting extra into each other skill until all of the aforementioned are 100. Then level medicine. Make sure to get the perk that increases skill point gains early on and level it to max the first 3 levels. Bing Badaboom kill everything by level 20

Inorite... I hate it when you have your stuff taken at the start, and the place is just depressing.
Also that hard mode stuff doesn't mean much. So, you have to drink water once in a while. No big deal.
Its one of my favorite games, just too bad there are so many bugs. Good luck trying to finish the special companion quests. You talk to the wrong person and its fucked...

Hardcore mode is fucking fun. Casual mode is for fucking normies.
Unless if your playstyle revolves around speech, bartering, complains etc., don't bother with charisma. Focus more on intelligence, you'll get more skill points that way.
