Look at the national debt clock. Barring a small miracle, they will continue to do so. I don't see life as "perfect" elsewhere. Healthcare is free in a lot of places, though, and their economies are flourishing compared to ours.
Our government through the last session of Congress was the most useless in history. Nothing but stalling and waste on a grand scale. I can't stand them. At a minimum, I want someone to bring the economy under control, and I just don't see it happening. Some other countries in the world operate with something other than insanity for a fiscal policy.
