Am 6"2' and 135kg (down from 160kg), and i even agree with the fat shamers. Being a size that limits the ability to live your life to the fullest and also makes daily chores a hassle is not fucking worth it. But just like me, we do not know how much in deep shit we are until it is too late.
It is the same thing as drug addiction. Food is used to suppress life issues, and it becomes a vicious cycle, and the food they eat has been chemically engineered to make them addicted so they go back for more when they are feeling down.

Because when you eat something, your body is choosing what part of what you've ate will be stocked in what form. The decision process is a complex process, it depends on multiple factor. On some people eating less calorie, won't result in long term weight loss, but in fatigue and disease.
Dieting can be complicated, but it's always doable to some extent.
When you are very fat, your adipocytes number have grown, and there is nothing you can do to decrease that number. You can decrease the size of each adipocytes ( and then if you reduce it enough you'll look slim) but the fact that you have more adipocyte for example means that if you eat the same thing, and do the same kind of exercises than someone who has been thin his whole life, you'll likely store more and use less of these calorie.
