While I don't mind expert mode, I'm more likely to just avoid the first dragon for a while. That bitch was too hard the first time I played expert, so unless that changes because due to my class, probably just gonna run from it.
This sounds way more fun than my sparks only legendary roleplay. Roll.

Favorite Build: legendary difficulty, all level points into magicka, focus on conjuration, illusion, destruction, and archery. Since I'm a mage on legendary, armor and health don't matter as I'll die in one hit anyways.
I go to Fort Amol to get the bound bow. Then sneak and manipulate battles from the shadows until I have to throw fire balls when detected.
It's also a good dragon slaying build too.

Another fun build: Adept difficulty: one handed, shield, archery, and illusion.
No points in health or armor. Only allowed one sneak attack per fight (no perks in sneak though). Allowed only one illusion spell per fight as well so you can't do bullshit tactics.
The idea is that you are on equal terms with the enemies. A couple hits and you'll die just like them. Get good with shield bashing and using shouts efficiently

Oh yeah put enchanting in these builds too. That was probably my favorite skill in Skyrim. It allowed for high specialization in certain skills such as one handed. Or I could change a build on a dime without wasting a lot of perks. The Black Star and bound bow helped a lot too with this.
