I'm so bummed out. I want to join the military, but I recently discovered that I will be disqualified if I have self harm scars. They are on my left arm, my right arm is clean. I don't have any actual records of self harming, the only proof I have are the actual scars. I was an idiot and these scars are from years ago. Is there anything I could possibly do to qualify? Do you know of anyone who had scars but still somehow made it?
I also have a couple on my leg, but those ones look more like an accident from barbed wire or something.

I was misdiagnosed with asthma cause I was fat as a kid. Literally only ever used my inhaler when I had bronchitis. I was like 11 when I was diagnosed, which is still acceptable.
