The time machine, as I was told, is more of a captured mental transport than a machine. It feels real but when you come back you have more or less a dream like remembrance of the events. Really bizzaro-ish. The only reason it works is because we figured out how to 'record' dreams more or less. It's like note taking with your brain. Really fucking helpful for studying the past. You wouldn't believe how many things are ill-recorded here it is hilarious.
