You can take any class you want, but make sure it falls into a prerequisite requirement for it to count towards the degree. Most schools need you to take a literature. math, econ or accounting, etc. to ensure you have a rounded education.
I would not bother with a 2-year degree. Most employers want the bachelors.

Haven't they had the same logo.. forever?
>>675127444
No. In fact, even a trueblooded genius is going to have trouble simply fitting that many classes into that much time. Time waits for no man, and even if you don't need to spend more than 1% of the normal time on assignments you still need to attend the classes and you can't be two places at once.

Most colleges only let you take a class if you've completed its prerequisite. That makes it almost impossible for a condensed schedule.
Also, there's a reason so many people go 5 years now.
>>675127675

Degree in Computer and Information Security working for a bank earning £75k a year.. pretty good ;D
>>675128465
We do a lot of unrelated classes comparatively, if Sweden is anything like the other European countries I've looked at. EG the UK does almost all of their classes about whatever you're studying, whereas solidly half of American classes will be about either (A) random things like Literature or Math for a Philosphy degree or (B) tangential things like Sociology for a Psych degree.

No one doing accounting or finance? You dumb fucks are missing out on high demand jobs with good pay. Got my finance degree, making about 65k working 40 hours. Waiting for another position to open and I'm one of the top candidates due to credentials and busting my ass. Will probably make about 100k in about 2 or 3 years. This will set me up for more vertical mobility.

quiet useful and interdisciplinary

Accounting and Finance is bullshit. I look higher like 10 times the maths in computer science and you're telling me some blokes who can't add or subtract without a calculator make 6 figures?
It's who you know with that shit, man. It's a lot of luck and having connections. That's the difference between that and working as a CPA somewhere.
Seriously, what do you even do that a well programmed computer couldn't do better?
>>675123080
I have a bachelor's in psychology. Currently work as a digital forensic examiner and they care more about the certs than the degree (ACE, CEH, CHFI, A+, Network+). I personally think the cert "education" is bullshit.
I absolutely hate computers now. I would never wish this job upon anybody. Now I'm going back to school for a MFA in illustration (I do art on the side and make a decent avocational living at it, and want to make it my primary pursuit).
Basically, my psychology degree was worthless aside from just getting my foot in the door by having any bachelor's degree. I was lucky enough to get it on a full-tuition scholarship, so I'm not complaining, but I'm wishing I would have just pursued something else (art) from the start.
As it is, in this job I make $20 hourly (but my services are billed out at $250 hourly, and my boss keeps all the extra even though he can't check his email without installing a toolbar). If I really wanted to, I could probably branch out on my own as a consultant, but I really hate the work so much I just want to collect my check while I'm in school and then jump ship as soon as I can.

23 yo here, have a degree in global management and manufacutering + a degree in global business informatics. got a gpa of 3.94 in total of all my educations..
working for a large oil firm, figuring out how the oil can be extracted, transported and sold for the least money possible and the most efficiently. not kidding, its pretty sweet, getting around 700k a year, could do it for 100k or less. although diagnosed with autism is not too great :/

The card won't fit the motherboard because that motherboard is not designed for that type of gpu. It's probably a mini or midi-ATX designed for small, passively cooled cards or something like that.
The gpu in the OP is OBVIOUSLY a card that's been fried or dead in one way or another, so the guy made a video 'pretending' to be so dumb that he cut off a part of the connector to make it fit the mobo. It's all a pretentious bullshit in an effort to elicit anger from whoever watches it because that gpu is fucking expensive, so you'd have to be 100% retarded to do what he did.
Anyone in this thread that says otherwise is just trying to fool you. Especially that faggot here >>675133089 who keeps trying to convince people that the cut off part is useless, secretly hoping that someone will be dumb enough to actually cut that bit off following his advice. Fucking cunt..
>>675144561
I did. Was looking for something three months out of college - anything. I was sitting around one day playing Deus Ex and I had the sudden thought of, "I should volunteer at my local private investigator firm." At the time I was in the interview process for a few federal law enforcement agencies (washed out of all of them, apparently failed the polygraph), so I thought it would be a good experience.
I hit pause, sent them a well written email with my credentials, and said I'd volunteer for three months full time for free for the training. If they didn't want me at the end, they could cut ties, but if they did I wanted a check at that point.
Three months came along and I started getting paid, starting at $13/hr. Had seven $1 raises since then.
At first it was great. I got to sit out in a van with a camera, put trackers on cars, etc. Then they started to realize I had a computer background, and my boss saw dollar signs. In the five years since I've worked there, they've retooled the business from a traditional PI firm to almost exclusively digital forensics. I've been a computer geek my whole life and wanted to get out of computers.
Now I'm stuck in an office all day, posting on 4chan while I wait for my forensic images to finish indexing.
It's not a BAD gig, really... just not what I care about in the slightest in terms of career passion.
>>675144792
Ok, let me ask this another way. Why did you get two masters in such off the wall bullshit, and how did that translate to 700k a year?
This smells like insider help. Two masters is a lot, so why this path? Did you already have it in the bag from someone you know?
thing is, I know plenty of people with bachelors and some masters that are working reception or some other bullshit. It's not all qualifications, there's always more to it.
>>675145056
this is actually a true video, its from linustechtips, a computer guy on youtube. and yes the card worked and the mobo worked, after and before the installation
>>675144777
I didn't think about it like that.
I'm a second year in a Bachelor university study in chemistry. I'm doing a terrible job at it btw. The analytical chemistry subjects are boring as fuck because we get nothing else to do while doing the measurements, besides the small amount of necessary lab prep

Are you serious? It is just some dumbass tab to help hold the PCIe card to the board, the fact that the board didn't have a holder clip like most other boards that have PCIe slots have holding clips at the back of the card slot, so I think he was putting that card into a PCI slot.
>>675145267
well, as being autistic (sounds like fucking bait, but hear me out) i veiw things differently, and apparently that is what the firms need, i am the leader of a group of 4 people, we are only 4 people doing all the logistics in that company, and we are all people in the top of our fields.
answer to the two masters: i did the whole first degree in 1 year and 186 days (i think, might have been a little more) and after that i had a lot of time on hand, didnt know what to do, so shy not do a similar degree, it would be easier and i might meet new people and get more insight. so i did. and here i am.
(wont call out the name of my co-workers or the firm, as the oil business can be kind of shady with the middle east and what not)
>>675123080
degree in physics. phd in physical chemistry. academia sux, trying desperately to get out and get a job in something pharmacy related
>>675145414
I liked it because almost every field has an analytical chemist. Oil, big pharma, food, dye industry, paint industry... etc.
I work with oil samples and running the GC is half of my job. Processing and paperwork is the other. I don't even have my degree yet and I'm making 17 plus some over time when something stops working and bottle necks the process, but one more semester and I'm done. I'm taking physical chemistry right now and we just started quantum mechanics. It's hard and I'm doing bad at it.
>>675145773
Yeah, I'm right there with you. Nobody in logistics is going to make that much, especially some "team leader."
If you're the head of radiology at a big hospital, you'll make like $500k. Think about that for a second compared to Double Autist Master's claims.

Nah, it's not, but it seems that way statistically because it's the most restrictive on animal fats, which we all agree are over-consumed in the West.

well, i learn pretty fast, and most of the things my classmates would get taught at the lectures and stuff was stuff i already knew, so the only thing i actually needed was to take the exams and not fail (ofc i had to study to the exams, and that was what took so long) (its because where i live the educational system is quite different, you dont have to come to the lectures, all you have to do is to take the exam at the end of the year and pass)

its the same with the bachelor man, you just have to go to the exam, if you pass great you through, if you fail, well fuck you. you can take the exam at any point, but, if you fail its over, you gotta wait until next year, and its the same shit they teach every year. so lets say you go in first years bachelor, you try and complete the exam in week 1, you fail, gotta wait a year, you do the same, wait a year, you see how this goes right? the same goes for the masters.

Financial engineering doesn't actually pertain to engineering like mechanical, or electrical. its not what you would automatically think. its basically a branch of actuarial sciences where we manipulate numbers using formulas, and principles in regards to finance.
