If you really wanna do it, start by just using your phone man. Most smartphones these days have pretty good equipment. Just put it on a tripod and go. Then save up for better equipment. Remember, it's not quality of video or audio that matters as much as the quality of content. Hell, there's a couple you tubers I watch that use the shit test equipment out there, but I LOVE what they do and have to say. So get out there and just do it. If people don't like you, so be it. If they do, then that gives you more incentive to get better equipment.

First off you need a lot of good content, that takes month to produce. And by good I mean it has to be entertaining, you have to have a good voice, at least a bit of talent and the skills will come automaticly. When you´ve done that, you need 2 things. A Video that goes viral to kick off the channel, or a shitload of luck. There are plenty of channels with a lot of very good content and is takes years until they get the attention they deserve and some never gain a big audience.

No you can upload it, but nobody will notice until you create a viral video or you get lucky and it will be seen on the featured page. Let´s say you will have that one viral video, you´r channel has to have good content, so the ppl will sub it. If you look for viral videos you will notice, that there are like 100k or 1mil. views on it, but they have like 200 subs, because it´s just that one good video and nothing else.
