For example, he has been saying he will build a wall and make the mexicans pay for it. Everyone thinks its a joke, but they are part of NAFTA and part of the treaty says that if their businesses/citizens are causing financial damage to another country, they pay to fix it and stop it, or they start paying tarrifs again.
So either mexico builds the wall, or their tarifs will pay for the wall. One way or the other, they are fixing it.
