I love the new nuke - they've removed a lot of the nolifer climbing spots, made the entire map easier to navigate, and made some of the bottlenecks less sniper friendly.
Ofcourse, we all know CS is the game you play when you know a map so by heart, that the noobs who improvise it, does not stand a chance - but now, I stand a chance again.

And the issue with old nuke was the opposite. Outers was way to easy to hold with an awp. Same for ramp and A site from heaven, at that point, all you have is A site vent drop, which only ever worked half the time because there was always someone watching sqeaky on A.
For an already CT sided map, it tilted even harder in CTs favor the moment an awp or 2 got whipped out. That's what they tried to fix, more options for offense and to make people less reliant on the one shot kill gun.

It isn't that hard to take a site in old nuke, you just need to know where to look. Rotates are so fast you can have one guy lurking and pick them off. Marshmallow and big box pushed at the same time and you can kill an awp outside and take heaven or secret

Well when you get out of the gold nova bracket, and swiftly realize people in higher ranks do not often miss with awps, you realize push's on old nuke against awps is a pretty difficult thing. Because not only is the map naturally CT sided, and not only are awps overpowered as fuck, but it does the dust II thing where it sets up awpers in perfect positions to be able to take out entire teams at a time.
