This is the story about Red and Blue. Not the pokemon trainers, no, but two very different emotions.
What connects these two people is the weird relationship they have.
Red is completely in love with Blue. Since he knows him, his life has changed in unimaginable ways, for good. Everyday, Red is thankful for all the luck he has to know Blue. He wouldn't change him for nothing in this world, he idolizes him.
Blue is really kind, and he likes Red, just as a friend, but Red is okay with that.
At first, their relationship worked out. Red confessed his feelings to Blue, and Blue agreed to keep in touch as friends.
Everything was going smoothly, perfect. They used to see each other everyday and shared their own daily life experiences.
But paradise didn't last very long, and no one knows exactly when or why, things twisted. Blue started to disappear for days.
He explained that a lot things were happening in his life right now and that he was being a lot busier than before and couldn't find enough time to see Red.
Red understood that perfectly, and patiently gave Blue all the time he needed. Even so he still waited every single day for Blue to appear.
But Blue's vanishings became longer and longer. Red missed Blue a lot, and noticed that the distance between them was quickly growing, so he tried to ask him to see him at another time of the day, anytime, just to see him more. But nothing, there was no other time, apparently.
He tried to ask Blue to at least let him know when he would be back, after disappearing, just not to despair and wait for that day to come. But again, nothing, Blue never knew when he was going to disappear or when he was coming back, apparently.

Red was starting to be desperate, he knew the relationship wasn't working out, it was dying actually. And he started to think why could that be happening.
Maybe... Maybe Blue wasn't being completely honest with Red. He was not necessarily lying to him, just maybe... Blue didn't give the same importance to the relationship as Red did. Maybe he disappeared because he didn't want to spend his free time with Red, but then he always came back because he felt guilty with him. Maybe Blue wasn't mature enough to be completely honest with Red, to end for once with the relationship breaking Red's heart, and he didn't realise how much hurt he was causing, by extending it.
Red started to desire that honesty more than anything, he couldn't live with the doubt. Even if that honesty was the end of their relationship, he would accept it. If Blue was happier without him, he would accept it, because all Red wanted was Blue's happiness, above everything.
What was worse for Red was knowing that if he asked for honesty, he already knew what the answer would be. Another excuse. But even if all those excuses were true, their relationship was dying and he couldn't do anything about it.
Anything but crying, alone, waiting for Blue to show up.
Week after week, until the day he finally decides to disappear forever.
