As background, I like to play Assassin's Creed for the vast posibility to upgrade and shooters in general.
if you have friend to play with, it might be really fun, if oyu have some troll friend you might love fucking around in the dark zone but if you have pussy friend its going to be really boring
I find it very enjoyable. I have noticed a few bugs however, which include sound loss on a couple of guns while firing. One mission I kept falling through the map but it eventually stopped and have never experienced it since then. The customization is very well done. It is over all a tactical shooter so playing solo is a drag but if you have a group of friends to play with it's worth it. cheers.

Yes there is a matchmaking system for the main storyline missions. You can just que up and go. Those missions will be fairly difficult to solo, but when you are just roaming around you can solo it with fair ease if you don't suck. It's not mind crushing difficult you just have to not be a jackass. Not having a mic is no issue for the match making as well.

i just dont get why they make games like this with levels if theyre going to make the level cap so easy to reach? why not just have everyone at the same level from the start? i remember back in the day when mmorpgs made you work for your levels and you were punished severely for dying etc. im going back to the days of DAoC (most of you probably too young to have played it) and to a lesser extent WoW. i guess since the casuals got a taste for mmo's they had to dumb them down too. god, the games industry is totally fucked nowdays.

mkay so in 33 hours im at lvl 27, all main missions complete, lvl cap is 30 right now but the story says its endgame at 30. dark zone is the pvp system where if you get killed players can steal your equipment. side missions and "event" missions have like 4 variations. for 60$? i would wait awhile, dlc wont be out for awhile, by the time new content arrive the game will probably be less than half price.

If you have friends playing it or have the ability to make friends it's fucking great. Not as fun solo bit the main idea is to flank enemies. matching with randoms is extremely easy.
The shooting mechanics aren't as clean as I would like but the cover system and abilities and deep customization make up for it.

Honestly the game has bored me for endgame, grinding for pheonix credits or praying for decent party members for challenge missions is tedious. Don't get me wrong, all 'mmos' have this aspect. The game is fun and some of the missions I actually enjoyed and kinda took me back to Gears of War 2 in terms of engaging firefights. One problem I have is loot drop doesn't seem random, did the general assemble mission on hard twice for the dailies and the finally boss loot was the same, shotgun, kneepads, chest, and mod for armor. Dark zone can be fun if you are with people(obvious) and in my time playing more people seem to be nicer players in the DZ than wanting to go rogue. Also from what I have heard, the DZ is the fastest way to get geared for level 30 but I don't have much luck with loot drops anyways. I recommend waiting to see if the game drops or if you can find a sale. I don't believe it is worth 60 bones but if you are itching to play it may as well pick it up. At least you got another game to add to the collection at the end.
