I had one of those Vostok's ages ago. I liked it, but eventually broke it. Mechanical watches are nice but brittle. Of course, since it's 2016, I use my phone to tell the time like everyone else now.

I have a Vostok in the house too. It broke within a few weeks. A shock made the spring come loose. Not even that hard a shock, comparable to when you would hit your fist at a wall at 50% strenght. I didn't bang it on smth or anything.
I was sold on their undestructible reputation too, I guess I was wrong. Really liked the look of it though (see pic)
