Game Grumps was genuinely entertaining and funny when it was just Jon and Arin sitting on a couch playing games and talking about bullshit. Now it's just a product that Arin whores out as much as possible so he can avoid ever animating again because that takes actual effort.

Most of the commentary from the Game Grumps is completely unrelated to the games they're playing; you could replace the footage with any game and it wouldn't seem out of place. For the most part, all it is is Danny trying to make Arin laugh - at least with Jon before you had a little bit of conflict that made things interesting. Danny is just a yes-man to everything Arin says, it's almost like he's cloned himself.
As far as the quality of the videos, most of the games they play they're missing crucial developments, so they'll spend two videos wasting time because they were too busy telling some long-winded chuckle tale during the tutorial.
Honestly, most of the gamers on YouTube are top-tier shit. These days I find myself looking up blind let's plays especially, because it can be interesting watching someone play one of your favorite games for the first time. You watch as they react to twists, learn the game and eventually overcome it.

The best thing about the Game Grumps is watching them indulge in all of the wealth that their basement dwelling weeaboos are giving them. For the past few months, Suzy has been enjoying the lap of luxury a little too much, and her weight gain is especially noticable on Table Flip.

To be entirely fair to Arin, it isn't like he promised anyone he was going to be an animator for life. He's happy being an entertainer now, and imo he's good at it. You may not personally like him or his entertainment, but you must at least admit, he's very successful. Maybe too successful, sure. Maybe he hoards the money or whatever, sure. But don't act like you wouldn't. Arin isn't a bad guy, and his show is fun to watch. Does it need to be about more than that?
