But as a person in the Environment Tech field with decent knowledge of genetics it should be stated that the information on the effects of GMO products on the human body is still very unknown. Quite simply not enough time has passed. Although I personally believe that the medical effects of the human body are minimal is any. From an ecological perspective however, GMO crops pose a very serious threat. To not acknowledge that would be ignorant.

I like that they cover a wide range of topics in a well presented format with anchors who are somewhat charismatic. However, they are VASTLY to the left, I think they are more left leaning than Fox is Right leaning. Its not a bad thing if you recognize it as being so, but they are very biased.

I'll acknowledge there are concerns about GMOs for ecology. That is somewhat valid, although I think the risk is overblown.
I do not acknowledge risk for human consumption. For one, is just literally doesn't make sense that GMOs would have some blanket effect.
You're typically making "organism A" produce a protein from "organism B." What that means in terms of side effects is completely dependent on what A and B actually are, and it's just nonsensical to me to say GMOs as a whole could have some specific effect.
As for particular GMOs, if it's safe to eat organism A and organism B, I really can't imagine a consequence. If it's not safe to eat organism B (the one that you got the protein from), then I still don't necessarily see it as being much of a concern. If you have the money, it's really not that hard to figure out what a protein is capable of. And they're typically pretty limited. So it shouldn't be hard to figure out whether it's safe for human consumption.
