Philosophy can be used for law school, graduate school in any humanities field, and on it's own it teaches one how to think critically and logically (though that won't necessarily get one far career wise)
Options are limited in philosophy in terms of jobs, but it opens lots of pathways to higher education, and if combined with another major makes for a strong undergrad. And if money permits, it's just a great life skill.
