Basically I've hit rock bottom. I met this girl a couple of months ago and we've been friends ever since. I have a lot of fun talking to her, she's very kind and I feel like she actually tries to understand what I talk about.
Now here's the very anticipated part of the story.
During the first month she used to tell me how nobody loves her and that she sometimes doesn't feel very happy about that.
Also she kept hinting at me about something I have yet to understand, she asked me things like "what if we met earlier" or "what if we went to the same school".
I wasn't sure what to do at the time so I just played it cool and tried to show my affection as much as I could. Unfortunately, she stopped telling me about love and all that stuff. We still talk on a regular basis, though.
My big surprise is that the little thing called love hit me this month. At first I didn't know why I started feeling different around her. But later I realized that I started thinking about her more and more.
Since then I started taking care of my problems, solving them faster than the fire rate of a pump-action shotgun. Yes, I was sarcastic, but I'm getting shit together slow and steady, don't worry.
The only problem is that I don't know how to tell her what's truly on my mind. No, it's not a bullet waiting to pierce the heavens. I want to tell her that I truly appreciate the kindness she shows towards me. I want to let her know that I would anything to see her happy. I feel better around her than what I used to feel like around my own parents. I never had a happy childhood anyway, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't fine and dandy either.
