Any work is boring. What makes if fun is the people you work with. If your workforce is shit, the work itself is even worse. If you work with colleagues you can eventually see yourself becoming friends with, then you got a nice job. Electrical engineering is a nice way to start. You can study law at a later state in life and maybe open up your own business with a very solid foundation. Stay the course fellow engineer, it's not all bad.
