Horde obv. Children tend to identify with familiar things. Out of the ordinary irritates them. So they are drawn towards alliance, simply because they can be human. Of course you cannot make absolute statements, but the average age is higher on horde side.

Horde. People are generally cooler. Especially on alliance dominated servers like Darkspear. There are fewer of us there and gives a real community feeling.

Side note: Whilst there are good players on both sides, alliance tends to draw greater numbers of the 'forever bads' ie: They que for 5 mans in groups of 3, fail at the most basic core fundamentals of the game, and will kick any other average players in the group, who look like fucking legends compared to themselves, and vote kick - Or just being general scumbags.
However que'ing for a random bg with horde will likely make you vendor your pvp set.

As someone who has played Horde for 4 years and Alliance for 3 years I will say Alliance is clearly the better faction.
-Better cities
-Better community since most kids play Horde
-Better races
-Better zones and quests (not counting undead lordaeron questing because that is the best questing in the game)
-Better racial leaders

Many Mythic raid streamers are horde.
Just google wow ladders, any bracket 2v2, 3v3 5v5, You will find 100 alliance to every horde in the leader list. - Check out Wow progress (Pve) and it is horde dominated.
