What I already know is that my eyes are probably too tired and weak from the prolonged use of PC, what I want to know though is if that is permanent? I felt this way for a while now, eyes being tired and hard to focus for longer periods of time. I can't really stop using the PC, I must study for university, and don't tell me to use books since that wont change shit. Focusing on a short distance is just that.

You should have more sunlight. Studies have shown that the higher rate of myopa in young chinese students compared to other nationality was related to the fact that they study so much that they don't see the light of day, as much as needed to keep the eyes healthy. I'm not saying your chinese, but that there is some truth to the idea that your (bad) habits can have some small influence on your eyesight

Several studies have shown that lack of sunlight directly correlates to Myopia. Run around outside for a bit d00d, might help. Eye damage is difficult to undo once it's been done, it's mu ch easier to prevent it from happening in the first place. If all else fails however, there's always laser-eye surgery.

Your computer do not cause permanent problems, the only thing that you can experience is fatigue. Ocular problems come from your family, your growth or how much sunlight you were exposed, it has nothing to do with computers. If you think you have problems with yours eyes because of computer screen I suggest you to go outside for at least 4 days a month.

So u probably over accmodating at near and because of that you are experiencing asthenopia. Probly have some latent hyperopia so, the best thing to do OP is get some over the counter readers. They will help relax the accmodative system and alleviate some of ur problems. Also like some of the other anons suggested try to cut the glare/short wavelgenths from your screen. Blue blocker/ar coating will help. With the readers u probably experience some blur for a bit till you adjust but dont give up on it. A small amt around 0.75D if u can find it should help
