Is anyone else extremely nervous before going into work, but fine during the work itself? I have massive anxiety everytime I'm going to work. I go in about 40 minutes and I'm so fucking nervous I am shaking. How do I make this stop?

Smoke a bowl.

What's the job?

It will wear off when you get more experience. Or you can try mindfulness

I was about to say the same exact thing

Dude, it's easy. Just stop breathing. There's almost nothing that can't stop.
But seriously, I get absolutley nervous JUST before a test. not weeks before, or days, but the minutes before it. And then during I'm fine.

Are you a hooker?

Terrible advice. Weed makes some people anxious. Have a drink instead. Whiskey or vodka.

Mindfulness meditation, right?
I was told by a friend recently they're finding things with meditation like that where it makes your brain not as strong because the muscles involved in thinking are worn from misuse due to the meditation.

Soiunds like retardation spewed by dumbasses, but I am afraid of fucking my mind up even more than it already is.
>>
OP I know that feeling.

I get it too often to the point where I am sick (it's sort of like flem).

I've turned to having a glass of wine in the morning and as bad as it sounds it works wonders for me.

Yeah mindfulness meditation. Not an expert, but that sounds like a bunch of bullshit. Muscles involved in thinking?

Terrible advice. Drink makes people noticeably drunk. I've smoked with a lot of people and talked with a lot more people who have smoked. I've only met one or two people who it makes anxious.
>>

After a couple of years working at the same place going to work is like going home. I fucking live there. Seriously sucks. It's why I fuck whores and drink
>>

made me anxious when i was 16
>>
>>674441179
not that anon, but

I'm one of those people. Smoked for years and was fine and then it just started getting "weird" on me. Had to give it up for that reason.
>>

Isn't the point of mindfulness to not think?
>>
>>674441725
You hear that a lot. People who smoke everyday and quit cold turkey because of a intense bad trip
>>
>>674439669
You could try not being a fag?

I have that problem! I actually get such bad anxiety I can't even go into wal-mart sometimes. For example, I'm outside Panda Express right now too freaked out to go in and order, there's so many people. Whenever I actually do go in or do whatever it is, it's never that bad at all and I'm never really too anxious. Smoking weed can make it worse, I only smoke at night alone for this reason. Although I'm baked now and bought to get me some chinese

Xanax, oxy, weed, alcohol.

I'm sympathize. If it makes you anxious, don't do it. But not trying it because it makes some people anxious is a stupid reason. If you don't wanna try it, it should be for some other higher reason. That's like not going outside because it might rain.
>>
Maybe you need another job...
>>
>>674441822
More to notice thoughts but not go along with them, and keeping focus on the breathing/fysical sensations.
>>
>>674441935
The weirder thing is I forget occasionally that it does me that way now and I try it again with the same results. I don't have a mental block up against it, my body/mind just doesn't react the same way it used to. It's a bummer really. I enjoyed smoking and it's a zero calorie intoxicant (if you keep healthy munchies around).

>>674442121
Oh by all means if somebody don't know because they haven't tried it, they should at least once. And I'm not even a weed evangelical like some people are.
>>
>>674439669
I was. I used to hate holidays because I wouldnt be used to work and would really really dread work.
Mind you I was working with total bastards who I fucking hated.
I finally had a breakdown and had to leave.
Find a place to work where the people are cool and you get on with.
>>
>>674442778
I already have, I'm cool with the people there. Problem is I guess I'm still afraid of fucking up even though I've been there for about 4 weeks now.
>>
>>674442675
Sucks man. Well, you now also miss the downsides of smoking. The next day is soo fucking slow
