Hi /b/, I have a bit of a favor to ask.
First let me preface this by saying I have been a pretty big beta pussy all my life and have been taken advantage of but I just can't let this one slide.
My car shit the bed a couple weeks ago which was not too big of an upset since I only paid $650 for it. So I took to Kijiji which is like a fancier version of Craigslist (Canadian site I think). I know this is not the best idea to begin with but my credit is kinda shit so buying from a dealer is not my favorite option. Anyway I found a car in pretty good shape for a pretty good price so I texted the guy. Ended up giving him an interac e transfer of $1000 to hold it for me and told him I would get him the rest and come pick up the car on the 15th. Well surprise he's not answering to texts, calls or emails.
I know this was really stupid of me and I put too much faith in my fellow man but I'm not here to ask for forgiveness. I have the guys phone number and (presumably) his real email address. Can anyone find out where he lives based on that info? I'm not asking for a personal army and I don't want anyone to think that. I also want to stress that I will only be using this info to get the police involved and definitely not to go to his house and kick the shit out of him and get my money or my car. Will be posting screencaps of our texts as proof. Thanks.
