Codeine is a derivate from opium it's normal dosis for cough symptoms range from 20-40 mls to get rid off cough, however if you want to get the opiate effect of this, you need at least 10 times the dosis you need to for cough symptoms, that means you need at least 200mg woth of codeine on your drink. It is not the weakest of opiates, because it is not meant to be used like a painkiller. But to reduce cough.
