this is how i got into graphic design. a buddy got me photoshop 5 and i loved fucking around with it for days on end, and when i got upgraded to illustrator thanks to a year 10 graphics class i felt a calling when i picked up the pen tool
(i wish i still had the mem card that shit was saved on, it wouldve been funny cringe meme

i did portraits like this as commissioned work for a while. it actually bought me my first 1/8th
the ladys are much more fun to do because i dont feel weird when i have to stare for a bit to figure out the lines, it feels like im appreciating. when its guys it feels kinda gay

yes and yes. its been 6 years since ive last been, and technically polish was my first language.
im the middle of three sons born to polish emigrants naturalized under reagan. so polish came first since thats what was spoken at home, then english was the primary since school, but i had 'polish school' on saturdays from kindergarten to grade 11, which kinda sucked but i got them language credits for uni.
then i took spanish in grade 7 but didnt like it, prob should learn it though
german in 8, but being as immature as i was didnt appreciate how vacationing in poland i could have taken a roadtrip to go sightseeing.
then 9-12 i did french because it was classy. forgot a bunch, but i picked up duolingo and rosetta stone so ill start up learning all of those
latin, as silly as it is, i can read and understand alot of it, but speaking it is still weird for me.
but i dont consider myself a polyglot in any sense, im just a guy that thinks in both english and polish.

When I was about four or five, went on holiday, my mum booked swimming lessons for me and my older brother. We got in the pool, everyone else had been before and knew what was going on. They start doing 'Ring a ring a roses' in the water, it's all fine and good. Then on 'We all fall down', they dragged us under water. I'd never even been in water other than a bath before, so I was bloody terrified.
Don't mind going in water so long as I don't have to put my face under, but the useless swimming instructor I mentioned seemed to have it in her head that shoving your face underwater was a requirement. Until I had someone else to teach me, never made any progress with learning, and by the time I did, it was too late really.
