The only thing I dislike about that guitar is the neck. Truss rod at the top of the neck, with the exception of bullets, doesn't look so hot. I also prefer tinted varnish on the neck, but that's just personal preference. Love the lipstick pickup

It's amazing. Since it's just a modded 4 String Ric, the string spacings are smaller, but you get used to it. The only thing that's a bit difficult to do is slap, but I got used to it and I'm as good on my 5 String as I am on my 4 String. It's got the classic Rickenbacker sound, and the 5th string is just as loud as the others and the tone is as good. I put the pickup cover back on it because even though people say it doesn't make a difference with it being a new, and it sounds a hell of a lot better than it ever did without the pickup cover. It's an absolutely amazing bass. I'm building a double neck bass and guitar at the moment, and I'm finding it difficult to find a good colour scheme, but I think I'm just gonna choose a few colours and then swirl paint it

Quality is about the same as on Prestige Ibanez guitars but obviously you get what you pay for, so for example on my Mythic the bridge and tailpiece are made in Korea instead of Japan. I like the neck more on the FGN, because of the asymmetric profile. In my opinion they are the second best value guitars in the world after Flaxwood. You definitely should try them.

The frets are slightly to the right as well so you can feel them rubbing on your hand. In my opinion it looks and plays actually not that bad but the build quality is absolute shit..
