The bike I got is a road bike, and there's a ton of bicycle trails (oversized paved sidewalks, really) nearby so that's probably where I'll start. But mountain biking seems fun, I'm just afraid of getting hurt.
It was kinda silly, everyone else is out there in spandex, expensive bikes, team jerseys and I'm just wheezing along in a Minecraft Creeper shirt, baseball cap and shorts.
But yeah, I'll bring the backpack next time.

Eh, my nerves get the better of me. I worry about things more than I should. It's actually a bad habit, I've almost wrecked my motorcycle a few times because I target fixate while worrying about something bad happening. The irony there being that I almost cause something bad to happen!
