I just used apple cider vinegar on mine. It took long to get rid of it. Basically, got a cotton ball with vinegar, taped it to thing, left overnight (or for the day). Do it as frequently as possible. It got black with time, and I was able to remove it. If the root is deep, can take several cycles.

I had one on the arch of my foot for 4-5 years. Tried everything to get rid of it that I could find in google searches. In the end I used needle nose pliers to rip it out, once out I put the acid on that you paint on like nail polish, then put duct tape over it. Every couple of days I'd pull the tape off, it would be all white and fucked looking, I'd then use the pliers to rip everything out again, and repeat the process. After about 2 months of this it finally went away. Freezing it didn't work for shit though, or the little band aids with the acid already on them. Also tried just scrubbing my foot with stone and putting duct tape on it. Pliers my man! And it'll bleed like a bitch.

I fought with one of these warts for years. Went to numerous doctors, and none of them sent me to specialists. I ended up coming up with something that worked for me. Every other day, I would soak my foot for a good ten or fifteen minutes. I then took a small grater to it to get the dead skin off of it. After that, I disinfect. Applied salicylic acid and covered. After a month or so, the only thing left is the scar. Hasn't come back yet, but I am not holding my breath.
