Things like irc servers or firewalls would work just fine though. I need an extra ethernet port on the sparc machine so I can use it as a firewall. Also, I need to get the NVRAM fixed and get an OS installed. The optical drive doesn't recognize the discs I have available.

I've thankfully only gone through 1 stick. The throttle tension is completely gone, which sucks because it's difficult to adjust to a specific point without going too far.
I play seldomly play Warthunder. Tried out DCS and have yet to buy it.
Mostly I play Aces high. Got a pretty large squad of dudes in there that I run with.
I'm sure you've heard of it. Terrible graphics and all. But, the gameplay is fair unlike WT where you can 3rd person the entire time.

Yeah I have taken it apart. There is a "tension coil" of sorts that is completely broken apart. Well the latch from where it connects to create the tension.
It's all busted up, so I'm making do until I buy the HOTAS Warthog.
But, AH is still kicking. They are coming out with AH3 soon. It's in Beta at the moment, so that's exciting.

As much as I love Japanese culture and pop culture, living and working there seem to be pretty bad ideas, considering it's impossible to save (since the cost of everything's going up) and almost impossible just to stay there, no matter what you do. I've been studying Japanese for years, but have little to nothing to show for it other than a JLPT N4 certificate and an internship (at a Japanese company) that hasn't called me back since December.
I've been learning a lot about China recently though. It seems that there's money to be made in China, and there's more...opportunity, if one is willing to live and work honestly. So, I'm going to start self-studying Mandarin as of Saturday, after I get some books and CD's.
Plus, I love modern Chinese city architecture.

Have that laptop, got the tnt touchscreen because it was the only model in the store and it was 200 more then nontouch model.
nontouch screen models can have the screen replaced for 70 bucks with an IPS panel and in 20 minutes. Touch screen models require tearing down half the laptop plus 200 dollars for a non touchscreen lid then 70 for the IPS panel and then rebuilding the laptop....
Sort of butthurt over it.... My only two issues with the laptop is the horrible viewing angles and the track pad.

For the shroud got the 1/2" ply at home depot. Cut/built and painted in my shop. For the desk its 2 pieces of 1/2" laminated together then the top surfaces covered with maple sheet ordered from a local lumber yard.
