Went to ROTC, was eventually promoted to Colonel, and always said his best NCO's were black men, This was during the 60s and he was from Tennessee. My father was military and actually believed he had a duty to his country even after his retirement. He would not pass a flag without saluting it. He NEVER would EVER act like a juvenile.
