ITT post weird shit you collect
I dont have anything to contribute because I dont collect anything other than interest on my debt and beer bottles :C
>>670947501
other peoples ID photos.
>>670947806
That dude has some serious coon face going on. Why do you do this?
paint
>>670948355
not sure really. I used to just collect nudes, and started grabbing photos of their ID if it was there to link it to them.
After a while I realised I liked grabbing the ID on its own.
>>670948800
So you saw both this Texan girl and Coloradan dude naked?
>>670949519
they're both recent, from when I started collecting IDs regardless of nudes.
if you're after one I've got nudes of, here.
old bmx bikes
I just picked up #7 of a certain type of frame the other day
>>670950603
>>670950144
So you just ask for peoples' IDs and take a pic? Or you literally steal their IDs and keep them?
>>670947501
I have a collection of old fire alarm parts
>>670947501
post the collection of beer bottles you fuck
>>670950751
kek no, this is 4chan. Of course I don't obtain peoples IDs consensually.
I get them a bunch of ways, from data dumps to some local sources to just trawling photobucket when I'm bored.
the occasional active credit card doesn't hurt either.
>>670951245
Shit man, you should collect actual physical IDs.
>>670951614
A silly idea. much fewer chances, much higher risk, and no real benefit except having a drawer of ID cards I can't use.
>>670951959
selling them
>>670951959
The risk is what makes it fun.
>>670951959
Oh yeah, you can actually do something with pictures of IDs. Much better
>>670950648
nigger detected
>>670952162
not that handy in an age where ID is chipped and can be cancelled/reissued when lost.
>>670952281
I've got enough hobbies that might get me arrested one day, I don't need another.
>>670952461
as many things as I can with a physical ID. I don't look like any of these people, I cant impersonate them. but plenty of online applications just require a photo.
but as I said, this is just something I collect. photos of IDs. I don't use them for anything. it is a pointless excersize that I enjor.

>>670953546
Shit, they probably dead...
my collection
>>670954085
microphones. these are just my vintage/display ones. the modern ones i record with (~40 of them) are kept stored safely. i don't have pics of that whole collection. these oldies are prettier anyway, for the most part
>>670954085
I collect parts off of random things, mostly aircraft these days. Pic related, some of my indicators from my collection of cockpit instruments. 2 VOR, 1 with glide slope, and 2 ADF indicators with an ADF receiver on the bottom
>>670954785
wow, cool stuff. are you into aviation/piloting yourself or are you into all this for some other reason?
>>670954453
what do you record
>>670954046
Or missing
>>670955085
indoors i record myself and others, at home and on location.
outdoors i record nature ambience and others, with mobile recording stuff
at work i record others in a studio, but not generally with my own gear.
>>670955085
the sounds his victims make as they die
>>670954453
Calling a D104 vintage..
>>670955700
well they started making them in 1933 and mostly stopped by the 70s except for some special versions. the one i have isn't from the 50s but it's from the 60s or 70s, so i'd say it's vintage. not antique, but vintage.
>>670955095
I already looked up one name, nothing.
I hate Google sometimes.
>>670947501
Lol, most of us /b/ro
>>670956099
Really....?
I thought they were still making them.
I have a Night Eagle I picked up in the mid 90's.
>>670953978
windows 8 can run on older hardware and usually PC's from the DOS era can only use floppy drives. so you if want to run windows 8 on a DOS PC then you can by calling and ordering the box of floppy disc from microsoft
>>670956285
they make pic related kind still, but not the base station kind. i own one of those as well, and god it sounds clear.
the base station stands they stopped making in the 60s or 70s too i think
>>670954949
I'm actually working in aviation as an airplane mechanic. I used to do avionics, and I grabbed these old indicators out of a rubbish bin, and as far as I know they all work. As do the radios. I have a loran unit that I know works I've had it powered up. It's not pictured, along with a vacume actuated directional gyro, a fucked up altimeter, and a vacume actuated artificial horizon indicator. Also I have among my parts are a few camshafts, a complete airplane engine, minus accessories, a single blade off a 3 bladed propeller that came off a bonanza, 2 round engine cams, and soon to be added are a few cylinders from the reject pile at my new work, which is an engine and cylinder shop. Pic related: a cylinder I alodined yesterday
>>670954085
is it hard to keep poo from falling out of your anus? <serious question>
>>670956778
Yeah, I have 4 of the mobile versions.
11 Meter fag.
>>670954785
I work on a jet, and have a a weird collection. Mostly antennas and assorted cables so nothing too interesting. If I could grab a random I'd be happy.
>>670956993
Fucking autocorrect... I meant radome.
>>670956993
I have a few Cessna whips off of 172s. I figured a jet guy like you would have at least some cool turbine parts, which reminds me I also have a jet ranger help turbine disc. That fucker is heavy too, it weighs like 30 pounds!
>>670957132
The array assy, or the cone part that covers it? Coz if you get the array, you may as well try to get the radar unit and fry things, coz they put out enough power to fry things directly in front of them, just DO NOT stand in front of it with it on! And don't point it at metal if it's within 50 feet coz the feedback will destroy the radar unit
>>670957339
Haha I wish AF would throw out some cool parts. F-16 parts get monitored way too hard.
>>670957635
Had only antennas until today, but picked up radar assembly after crew ripped off the teardrop radome. I can't really get anything too heavy-duty since I have to pick off XB3 or bench stock.
>>670958117
Hehehehe weather radar? Eh it dosnt matter, they are like a super powerful microwave! Power it up with the array and fry shit with it! Stand in front of it tho, and expect to be like Stan from south park on bouncy ball testicles
>old books
>alcohol glass bottles
>old stuff in general
>>670958355
The parts I have are for RWR. If I can fix the coax cables I have I'll try something out. Gonna make sure I'm at least 100 ft away though.
>>670958666
Nice trips Saran. Old stuff is fucking cool. I have a few small engines that are old in my random parts collection. They LOVE 100LL avgas.
>>670958834
Ya lol they can be dangerous. You use Daniels crimps at your work? I love the fucking things! The most dangerous thing I'm exposed to these days is static electricity from the bead blasters. Zappity zap zap!
I used to have an asian balljoint doll. You wanna talk about an expensive hobby... I didn't even get into the horrifically pricey ones. Anyone ever interested in these things, buy 'em from eluts.com. The Delf series is pretty good in price and excellent in quality.
Anyway, when I sold her off, I started collecting small jointed anime figurines instead. They're all from animes I don't even watch or know the names of, I just think the girls are cute.
>>670958999
nice trips
>>670959306
Can't be as expensive as my aviation hobby..... I found a CHEAP twin engine airplane for 7500 bucks. Normal price for this specific one is around 60-100,000!
>>670958999
We recently moved from Jet A to some cheaper alternative which I can't remember the name of for the life of me. The Pratt & Whitney engines fucking hate us for it.
>>670959263
Trusty Daniels kit. Too bad the one we have is a bitch to organize. On an unrelated note I recently shot for power, and one of the pins hit the door I was touching. Needless to say I now secure pins when shooting with power on.
>>670959662
Well, that's a whole airplane. I invested $600 into a 14 inch tall resin doll. $400 of that was just the base doll itself and the shipping. You need to buy clothes too. Shoes for these things cost more than shoes for yourself. An outfit like this runs you about $70. Without the shoes.
not really weird.. but i collect zombie shit
Cards, figures, books, warhammer minis, posters.
Just used cards cause I figured it was the least common collection I have
At least compared to what I see on /b/

>>670960091
... Outta curiosity, who're you buying from?
Telling you, go to eluts. They've got excellent selection.

Thanks for the new site tho I'll check it out
>>670960234
Oh believe me I have more, these are what I keep on hand.
Other ones are in storage
Been collecting since I could read so like 2 years
>>670959857
Pratt SPECIFICALLY states "use ONLY jet-a in our engines"..........
On an unrelated note, you know you're an aircraft mechanic when you can tell skydrol from mil spec red stuff, from 100LL from jet-a from smell. Also fuck skydrol! Phoster ester based shit! Nasty shit. Also 100LL tastes exactly how it smells. Also NEVER EVER get alodine on you. It eats your skin and makes you smell like alodine all day. What happened with the door pins?!
>>670955359
Underrated post
>>670959904
Holy shit. Also that's not the whole thing. The airframe is all there, it comes with 2 engines, and no radios. No propellers. No log books. The expense will become real when I start getting parts for it. And finding out that it needs AD's done to it before it's even airworthy! Hahaha
I collect coins and paper currency. Mostly U.S. Currency but some others as well. My friends dad got me into it when I was a kid in hopes that my friend would get into the hobby. My friend and I went our seperate ways in Highschool but when the old man passed he left his coin collection to me and his son was pissed.
Children's card game anon here
A lot of figures I collect are h related
Just got this new one from a friend of mine
>>670960562
Had to r2 the the cable. The cable was for the main computer on the jet so supervision didn't want to take any chances. Still shot good, other than the unfortunate pitting on the base of the pin.
>>670960923
I collect foreign money actually, got some Yugoslavia actually, pretty cool
>>670953787
It's awful. Don't bother
I collect STIs
>>670961231
Lol shitty! In aviation, when fuck ups occur, they tend to go easy on you and tell you how to properly do it in the future: for example, the other day I was bead blasting cylinder parts(valves, keepers, etc. I made a mistake of bead blasting valve springs. Didn't know you aren't sposed to(I don't even remember reading anything about it in my powerplant study guide either), and the boss said not to blast springs because it removes their tension. Never would have thought, didn't get in trouble or anything. Plus I only blasted 3 outlets and 2 inners. And we have tons of them laying around too.
