Depends. Long, thought out ones, no, that's bad. Quick impulse fantasy ones, like waiting at a train station, and as the train approaches, thinking "What would happen if I just jumped in front of it?", apparently those are normal.

To take suicide into consideration after major events or to escape oppression can be normal, but do you think about suicide outside of those scenarios or frequently? Do you ever do more than just briefly bring it to your mind and shake it out of your mind later?
