I'm not certain how much you want to know. I could dive into the Celtic history of tarot, the occult origins of the Rider-Waite and Thoth decks, I could discuss the techniques and tricks I was taught or the books I use as a reference, or I could just tell you the mechanics.
The biggest rule in tarot, and possibly the hardest for people to grasp, is that there's no one definitive "way" to do it. The idea behind divination is that the universe will guide the outcome of random events if you have faith in it. And so you will hear people tell you things like "shuffle until the deck feels 'right'" or "pick up whichever deck 'feels' the best"
Because I'm a mathematician I personally apply math to ensure the outcome of the cards is entirely random. Instead of just idly shuffling I have a 4-step shuffle that I perform at least 31 times before I start my readings, and perform at least 4 times between each reading.

Maybe it simply says that things will work out positively. You would probably be better suited to interpret this card than I, given your knowledge of your own situation.

My brain works differently from others. I don't look at people or situations in the same way. This often leads to miscommunication and unintentionally upsetting others. Attempts to make the situation better always makes it worse. I also suffer from very unfortunate genetics. After that it's just a feedback loop. When you make one mistake all future actions are viewed with that mistake fresh on the mind, so what would normally be forgiven is "just another fuck up". Soon you can't do anything without it being twisted in meaning.

In a sense, yes. Although I'm that savant autistic kid who got every question right on an IQ test, bypassed middle school and high school math, and was able to graduate with an engineering degree without taking a calculus class because I tested out of the highest levels available.
When you already know everything school is teaching and you have no friends, it gives you a lot of free time. I spent most of this time researching useless subjects like tarot for amusement.
