I should be making 71k a year but don't got the license for it yet.
part-time cashier at kohl's
i got chewed out by my supervisor for the 3rd time this month for not meeting the credit card application quota
i'm not going to make it bros, they're already purposely cutting my hours
single mothers get 1st priority at job interviews

>Chef at Wendy's
Yeah and I'm a rocket scientist at Best buy

But I live with my mommy and am a lonely virgin
How do you feel about KhanAcademy?
First I was a bilingual telemarketer. $14 an hour. I was the only Spanish speaker in the entire call center and demanded more during the interview. Fuckers wouldn't budge. $15 after 9 months.
call center supervisor, $2 raise was the norm so I hit $17 an hour. Did a fuckload of overtime. A FUCK load. Managed to clear $42k a year.
Then I was moved to finance where I did spreadsheet work for basically the same salary but didn't have to go over 40 hours to do it. I worked on my SQL, VBA and Excel skills and got up to 50k a year.
Was laid off. Fucked around on unemployment until it ran dry. Then got a job making $23 an hour doing the same thing as before but instead of finance oriented it was Marketing statistics oriented.
Now I teach English 20 hours a week for €1000 a month in an elementary school. I don't have to develop lesson plans and I generally work with 5 or 6 students at a time. I'm more like a teachers aide. It's way less stress. I'm 31 years old now.
I don't know what I'll be doing in 2 years time. I hope I don't have to go back to marketing analytics. The pay was pretty good but some days I fucking hated it.
Waiter at Italian restaurant (free food even on days off)
Genuinely good people to work for but did cut my hours to hire a family member after a "partial buyout" lol whatever it was ridiculous of me though . I was working 12 hour shifts clearing 120-150$ a day with my tips. I remember making 700$ in 4 days. Craziness. Wtf has a waiter or waitress ever complained. I'm only working 2 days now and I still clear $200+ per week. I don't even look for another job, just enjoy my free time and happiness. Simplistic life.
I was a loader for 2 years but it was either get a second job or become a supe. Not many driving opportunities where I work. Everyone told me I was gonna regret it. The only thing I miss is the free bennys lol
I dont want to supervise or drive full time.
I work preload but often get to do midnight and or drive til like 5 pm at latest. full time drivers get home at 7 pm once in a blue moon.
But been thinking of finding a more stable part time job til i get a contract letting me do preload and drive part time.
Wish I could quit, but no degree or skills to take with me.
As much as I hate it I cant be fired, they offer pension and I get consistent raises.
I really want to leave, but feel like I'm stuck and now would be the time to leave cause pension is every 5 years. I just make that mark and am thinking here I go for another 5. Not letting them jew me out of money. Good on you for taking advantage of tuition reimbursement.
Disability pension + italki community lector:
319 euro a month + 8 usd an hour on italki (usually around 50 euro from teaching a month.
Had one student in person for 7 euro an hour but he gave up so not anymore.
Sometimes I write essays and theses for students, a little over 3 euro a page usually.
>UPS delivery driver
If you're gonna be a driver make sure you sign a route bid and not a utility driver one. It's way better and you have consistent work and the same general area.
Sign full time bids my dude
Supervisors lose the union benefits fyi so I never recommend going that route unless you are leaving the company in a few years anyway
I know right. I mean just look at how easy it is
Especially with the silly Orion system that wants you to start picking packages in the middle of the truck that you will never be able to reach

Owner, small engineering consulting firm.

Monday through Friday, I get in the car whenever and drive until I've made at least $100. That can take anywhere from 4 to 6 hours. I take breaks literally whenever I want. If I haven't hit $100, or if I know I need to buy something soon or pay a bill, I'll do weekend nights, where I can turn $100 in like 3 hours but I risk drunks puking in my car.
I also drive an old Prius, which keeps gas costs down but I qualify for very few bonuses. Streaks and power zones.
Nicer cards (2011 or newer) get special bonuses for driving during "peak hours" (rush hours and Friday/weekend nights). Vans get paid more because they can carry more, and get special requests because they're larger. "Luxury" cars get paid the most, but they need to be new, on a special short list of makes and models, and you have to already be a fantastic driver.
I'm coming up on 1,500 rides and am currently rocking a 5.0 out of 5 stars. Just be cordial, respect the people who don't want to talk, if you're not confident or kind avoid touchy subjects, and water bottles go a LONG way.
honestly these look like shitty loads.
>I should be making
>91k / year
I've had people tip specifically for the bottle of water, and usually multiple times per pack. It also only costs me $5 for 32 bottles. At worst, it pays for itself. At best, I make like $10 I wouldn't have gotten on top of paying for the water.
Also it keeps me hydrated. I learned early on that I need to stay energized and hydrated, because if you're on the clock and even somewhat busy you're constantly mentally engaged.
Further I get to deduct l i t e r a l l y e v e r y t h i n g when tax season rolls around. So repairs are no skin off my nose.
And yeah I do the simple shit myself. Bulbs I do all by hand. If I can find a place to get my car up I'm gonna start doing my oil as well, but there's a place in town that changes the oil in 10 minutes-ish while I'm sitting in the car and I can just deduct that shit so why the hell not?
Not fully, otherwise I would be doing people's taxes and not driving for Lyft.
I put the numbers in, the machine spits the refund out. That's my basic understanding. Some things count for half, or for a little more or a little less than that, and some things don't count at all.
>I can just deduct that shit so why the hell not?
I'm talking bigger common wear things like wheel bearings, tires, belts, water and fuel pumps, struts. Not simple maintenance. Luckily Prius don't have a timing belt so you shouldn't need to fear that it will snap and cause $3k+ worth of necessary repairs
You can also deduct those. I deducted several things from my old car last year, no problem. But Prius' are surprisingly sturdy. Outside of the Hybrid battery failing recently, my car is in fantastic shape. The battery was a big hit but after shopping around it's not gonna suck too badly. My refund was bonkers last year, but now it's gone.
i dont know what my job title is, i was supposed to handle billing and spreadsheets but my milf supervisor changed that to keep me next to her. basically simple filing work for a customs house broker.
$14/hr + benefits
>Hmm...He was behind of it...
I tested once for FedEx and the rig handled so bad. I felt unsafe in that thing. Plus it just reeks of diesel.I couldn't stand inhaling that all day.
Propane delivery driver
Super chill job. I drive around filling up propane tanks all day. No one bugging me. I barely talk to my boss as long as I'm doing my job I don't hear from him. I'm on my own 99% of the time. Hank Hill would be proud
infinity war is a dumb movie cause why would you bother all those heroes to fight thanos when all you have to do is get ant-man inside his asshole, make him grow back to his normal size and that’s it purple joss whedon is dead
Fuck, I hated working at papa murphy's.. Worked there back in high school. Manager was a meth head, coworkers were always stoned, and the walk-in cooler had black mold growing in it lol
Stock at local arts n crafts store

Maintenance technician for WalMart DC
$25/hr but I’m thinking about making this my full time job since I’m in circulation part time
I make about $3200 biweekly and I’m 18
Only downside is that I’m being worked to near death and I secretly hope a fucking forklift or a freight falls over onto me
Honestly there's so many people working on my shift that even the long trucks aren't that bad to unload, and there's always break techs that break down/set up the inside of the trucks so you're never getting off your forklift really. Unless you're referring to how much freight we move daily then I have no clue, a fucking shit ton though.
Extremely boring, very specialized consulting having to do with government contracts.
About $80K/yr most years before taxes, but as an independent contractor I lose a lot in taxes. On the upside, I rarely work more than 2.5 days per week, and take at least a month off in the summer. I can work more and make more--I've made over twice as much--but I'm lazy and mostly choose not to.
I've been with the UPS for 10 years this August. I hate my job too. Fucking shit loader. Just places the pkgs in the car, no rhyme or reason. It's all mixed. long boxes on the shelves behing all the others. fucking loaders...
fiance worked for this shithole for a couple of years. was the most miserable job he's ever had. went on disability for severe depression because of it. thankfully he bounced back and has a new job with a better pay.

Former employer in Clearwater (leadgen reel) makes between 5 and 7 mil a year as owner, has some 9 'employees' and all of them have empty promises. Lied to for over a year for medical, took years to become an employee... Dosn't do international transactions properly. Ect ect ect.
I'll go hang myself for being a scumbag that wants to stop people from fucking people over.
Only good people fuck people over, scumbags try to stop it.
Old enough to know how the game works, over a decade ago did investigations internally for a fairly large financial company.
You don't know what you are talking about here, but it's ok as I did not need to specify it.
You can defend working for the US Financial Gestapo all you want. We don't care. When the next liberal administration sets you people upon those they want to make examples of for political reasons, you'll gladly do it.
>Server at outback. Pay varies. 31 yrs.

>Server at outback.
>Server at outback.
Where oh where did you fuck up in life?
Defends being a liar and fucking people over with honorable words.
Good times. I'm trying to stop people from fucking others over and I know just the path to doing so. Again, you don't know what you are talking about, but your assumptions make you want to lash out at me, thinking that I am clearly the enemy.
I want to fight people stealing from IRS or Social Security.
You wanting to be against me makes it clear you support defrauding the IRS and Social Security. Cute how you now clearly support defrauding Social Security, by your blind rage.
Maybe you should learn to 'know your enemy' as that saying goes.
But hell, maybe your enemy is those against people defrauding Social Security :)
>I want to fight people stealing from IRS
You're like an attorney crying "I don't support pedophiles, I just defend them!"
But hey dude, whatever you need to tell yourself to sleep at night.
