It doesn't bother me but nowadays where animus don't put as much effort into details and visuals, eyes are something that still tends to look pretty and unique, but that's something you can only see if they are regular sized at least.

Backlogs are a pain, they keep getting bigger and bigger at a much higher rate than you strike things from it so the best might be to just forget it entirely. Try to just watch and enjoy the one thing you want the most without worrying about what other shows you want to watch in the future.

Angel's Egg can be described as an art movie where the soundtrack and imagery alone are enough to keep you hooked if you're pretentious enough. The plot and characters are very shallow and up to interpretation.
Shinkai movies just have really good imagery and you could make a good wallpaper out of most of their frames.
