I'd suggest getting reasonable i5 instead of i3.
Also double your ram - go for 16.
Finally, go for SSD (256 gb should do) for OS and 2TB for games/movies/rest of the stuff

Ryzen 5 is a true quad-core, and each single core is dual-core, giving you a virtual octa-core processor.
It's pretty badass. Got it paired with a RX570 and it can run VR games.
start with an SSD as your primary drive, buy an HDD down the line when things start to get cramped.
start with 8gb of memory but make sure you've got empty slots for more in the future.
no need to complete your PC in one fell swoop
