Seriously: the science stuff is no worse than any other movie. Most new technologies depend on new materials, and many materials have a variety of uses. Material science is the future of technology, so it's at least somewhat plausible that an exotic metal could make all those technologies possible.
The reason you get accused of racism is because it's an intentionally black-centric movie, and your complaints about it are primarily made-up bullshit, instead of legitimate criticism. And there ARE legitimate criticisms to be made.

I didn't watch Black Panther because super hero movies are all cheezy and make no sense. A kid reading a comic book is different than a teen/ adult watching it acted out in the real world. The costumes look really stupid. Take batman for instance. He has little bat ears on his costume. Totally retarded. Kick Ass got it correct. The horrible cheez fest of real people wearing stupid shit and acting retarded is what it boils down to.

Legit criticism (I'm the anon with the big-ass rebuttal above):
The movie is 2:14 minutes, and still feels rushed, because we don't spend any real time establishing the characters near the beginning, or exploring them during the film.
How did W'Kabi go from being BFFs with T'Challa to hating him over one guy T'Challa failed to kill? We got a single throwaway line about how that guy killed W'Kabi's parents. Whom we never see. We never even see the bomb that killed them, just a blurry picture.
We never spent any real time examining the question at the heart of the story: Should Wakanda stay closed off, or open itself up to the world, and if so, how? We get about 10-15 lines of dialogue about it throughout the film, yet aside from the murder of N'Jadaka's father, it's the most important question of the whole film.
There were so many aspects of the film that got short-changed (even the central killing didn't show up until 2/3 of the way through, and was just thrown right at us) that it felt like a 45 minute student film at times.
The set design was a little uninspired: The CGI buildings were smart and well-done, but the African-American inspired artwork all over the place makes no sense. When were the Wakandans enslaved? How long were they an oppressed minority? Those facts played a huge role in the development of African-American art. Wakandan art would be VERY different. Buuut, it's African, so fuck it. Throw it in there. The intended audience is bound to have more African-Americans than actual Africans, anyways.
The CGI in the fight scene near the end, when they land on the tracks was just godawful. It looked like a video game cutscene.
The over-the-top fantasy elements. I'm down for an advanced society. I'm down with hovercraft. But why do they look SO different from real world technology? Why not ground the design a little bit?
