I've cried on all of my birthdays until I became 100% numb. This year, I started seeing a girl a month before my birthday, and she wanted to do something special for me.
Took me on a great brunch date, and then surprised me at night, wearing a little black dress, with a $120 steak and my favourite type of cake. I felt really fucking special and my brain couldn't process it.
Found out that a week after that, she took out another guy for the EXACT. SAME. BIRTHDAY. I am numb again. That hurt pretty bad, knowing that she was seeing two people at once. In the end, when she found out we knew, she kept trying to play us both until the bitter end. I'm so pathetic that I gave her another chance, and she gave me chlamydia in return.
