This happened to me. I started early in my field, at 12yo learning from my Dad and working through my teens. By my early twenties I started my own business and as a new co, was drilled by inquiring minds on the internet, and boy did i waste countless time blathering long, detailed explanations about my design philosophy and my take on every detail of the product and industry, trying to impress everyone that I knew what i was talking about. Compared to now, I didnt know jack, but really, I got sick of talking about it all during the learning process, & by the time I had a realistic idea of what i was doing, it also came with the perspective of how small tgat field of knowledge really is.
Arm a person with half a fact and theyll never shut up about it, blabbing it all over everywhere, whereas, find a person who wants to consider as many facts as possible, and you find them asking questions and listening intently.
