I think you just genuinely enjoy the media you live in and it shows. You borrow and morph from content you like and present the best facets of it to your audience.

Pooj's arts lacks a bit of self confidence and pow, but he is one of the few artists here who actually improve on a month to month basis, though Sidhe too has been picking up lately.
Vic and Ire are absolutely great, but I would call them rather stagnated, and the fact that they are not here much also makes them stick a bit more weakly with me.

If you compare the both of them as wholes the only thing thats really different is the fact that Pooj colors and knows about line weight.
Most of the coloring techniques he uses can be seen in Deviantart/Tumblr tutorials. That's not so much as a measure of quality but a fact. Also learning about line weight is really simple and someone who has a history of studying drawing could pick up on it in about 20 minutes.

But you do what a lot of people do when they start coloring which is shading to the edge. That will flatten shit out. Remember the light cast on something also interacts with all the other things indirectly, so you'll get things like reflective light brightening up your shadows.

dont shade with similar colors as much.
using dull colors makes your image dull. even if you just wanna color a guy with his arms crossed looking at the camera, using deeper and more vibrant color variations makes a huge difference
shade with colors that are not just the base color multiplied
also dont be afraid of harder edges when you color, especially when doing highlights/lighting of any kind. not everything looks better blended.

Our great teacher Lowell taught us, you either shade with a slightly desaturated navy blue in multiply layer, or you use warm shadow/cool highlights, or cool shadows/warm highlights.
Basically you wanna find your different values by moving diagonally in the color spectrum and not just vertically.
