I had a PS2 and an NES growing up, however the games I had the PS2 were total shit, but the games on the NES were actually good. Like Super Mario Bros 3. Played the hell out of that one.

My uncle who had the atari, played on it while visiting them. Was my first experience with vidya. He loved his atari but didn't get into nintendo, of course he was older, high school age.
Nintendo came out at just the right age for me. Shit was dope. My folks didn't mind us playing as long as it wasn't all the time, which wasn't a problem, we lived in the country so had a lot of shit to do outside.
