Absolutely amazed what reasons people have that prevent getting their children vaccines.
Just last week in a GP visit I was told a woman refused to have her baby immunised based on the rules of a cult she had just joined.
Various reasons I guess.
Biology and Chem were always my strongest and most loved subjects, so medicine suits me well there for a start.
Family has a big enough medical background, so I was always inclined to do it.
Also had a sort of urge to try fulfil my potential.

Actually, it's a lot of fun and I'm seeing myself in pretty darn difficult situations right now.
Last time in pedagogics we had a fictional scenario.
You have a kid from a different country. Of course their social standards are completely different. Let's say that kid has their life layed out before them by their parents.
You, as a teacher, will most likely seek conversation with that kid, asking if that kid is okay that their parents have their whole life planed out.
But what after that?
If the kids okay with it, are you okay with it as a teacher? You are teaching in a western country. It's not the standard for the parents to plan the life of their kids. It's standard for them to help them get on their own feet.
And what if the kids actually not okay with it? What are you doing then? Do you teach the kid how to think critical? Do you put the kid in the difficult situation of having a culture clash?
And you know what? I still don't know. There is no "right" way to teach a kid or how to handle a kid. And that's probably going to be extremely hard.
